Hi! I'm Joy Kloman, owner and teacher at Joy's Art Studio.
I've had my studio for nine years in the Gorge. I've been teaching art for 30 years. I love sharing creative ideas with all levels and all ages!

A little about me--
I'm a professional artist. My paintings are in several museum collections. I create large oil paintings in my studio upstairs. I'm also a printmaker. I just returned from two artist residencies in Sardinia and Latvia. Before moving to the PNW, I was a tenured university art professor who was solely responsible for the painting and drawing curriculum for graduate and undergraduate students in the department of art. I taught a study abroad drawing class in London. I moved to Hood River 18 years ago. This is a wonderful place to raise a family and call home. I am grateful to live and work in this beautiful community. My art can be seen here:
